During school terms our Kids Church program runs during the 9:30am Family Worship service. Kids of all ages join in the worship service for roughly the first 20 mins of worship time and then are invited to come down to the stage for a short kids' talk or song. After the kids' talk, all preschool & school aged children are invited to join in Kids Church where there's age appropriate activities to help the children worship God and learn about Him in their own ways.
There is also a creche provided after the kids' talk with supervised free play in a separate room for babies & toddlers.
A parents' room is available on the right of the worship area for parents & carers to use as needed during the worship service. This room has changing facilities, a lounge and toys for your little one to enjoy. There is also a small tv so that you can still listen to the service and see what is being projected onto the main screen.
During school holidays our creche continues to run and all preschool aged kids are welcome to join the babies & toddlers in creche on these days. School aged children stay in the service with their parent/carer and activity packs are provided.
At all times, children are very welcome to stay in the service with their parents/guardians if preferred, rather than attending creche or Kids Church. Parents are also welcome to stay with their child in their group to help them settle in if needed.
PLEASE NOTE At BCBC we take seriously our responsibility to provide a safe place for all our attendees, including our kids. All volunteers serving in our Kids' Ministry have a current Working with Children Check and have been approved by our church leadership team to serve in these roles.
Children in Creche and Kids Church must be signed in and signed out again by a parent or carer. Sign in slips can be picked up at the welcome table near the entrance to the worship area - if you're not sure, just ask. Sign out sheets will be available when you collect your child. Please arrive promptly after the service ends to collect and sign your child out.
